Always inspired by nature, Anna’s artwork incorporates watercolor, ink, and acrylics - but her favorite method of creating is through collage. Combining the art of biological illustration with decoupage collage technique, her process involves deconstructing and re-imagining subjects through cut-paper collage - all with a painterly aesthetic.The papers used to create her collages are all hand-painted and hand-cut before being layered on heavy-weight paper or wood panels. Anna’s work has been displayed at the 2023 Lake Forest Showhouse in Chicago, Trinity’s Spotlight on Art, and The Scouted Studio’s Emerging Artist Show.
Anna grew up in the Atlanta area and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Design. After over a decade of leading design projects for consumer products brands, she is now focusing on her own artwork full-time. When she is not creating art, you can find her nature journaling, digging in the garden with her kids, or out looking for birds. She lives with her husband, Chris, and their three children in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
