Born and raised in Selma, Alabama, Madison Faile got his start under the guidance of his grandmother—a portrait painter who instilled in him a love for the craft early on.

After graduating from Troy University in 2014, Madison moved to New Orleans, where he began his professional art career. His first solo show opened in 2015 on Julia Street, and just a few years later, he became the first alumnus to be awarded a solo museum exhibition at Troy University’s International Art Center.

Today, Madison is based in Birmingham and represented by galleries throughout the South. His work spans from hyperrealistic portraits to bold abstract compositions, unified by a strong sense of emotion, technique, and range.
