Painting from her home studio in Madison, Mississippi, Jessica creates joyful, intuitive oil paintings filled with thick, expressive brushstrokes and layers of storytelling.
She fell in love with oil paint during a season of slowness in 2020 and has been exploring its rich texture ever since—teaching herself along the way and often focusing on florals. For Jessica, painting is both an act of worship and a reflection of hope. “Even the messy drippy bits,” she says, “can be worked together for good.”
Her whimsical, impasto florals on canvas and wood are full of detail and joy, made to remind you of beauty, purpose, and the unseen Gardener at work in all seasons.
